Agreements and Policies Pet Policy

Small/toy dogs only, less than 20 pounds. A fee of $75/week will be charged. Dog must be fully trained and appropriately restrained by guest. Please wipe the dog’s paws at the door after being outside-a towel is provided for this purpose. Dog must comply with local legislation requirements. Dog must be kept on a leash when at Vita Huset or on its property unless in the guest room. Dog must not be left unattended or must be kenneled when left alone in the apartment. Guest is responsible for cleaning up after their dog on Vita Huset property and in the neighborhood. We can provide you with bags for this. Any disturbance, such as barking, must be curtailed to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced. Guest is responsible for all property damages and/or personal injuries resulting from his/her dog. Guest agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Vita Huset, its owner and operator from all liability and damage suffered as a result of the guest’s dog. Vita Huset reserves the right to charge the guest’s account commensurate with the cost of such damages and/or for loss of use of the room if it is damaged (ie. pet waste on carpet or floor; excessive clean up of hair).
